Purchase a license for Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus and register it before continuing. As the trial version of Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus does not remove infections.

If your registered Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus does not seem to completely removing a detected malware, follow the steps below to obtain the latest protection from malware.

  1. Check the version number of Spyware Doctor by clicking on the 'Help' button then select 'About': If you are not using Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus 7, upgrade your install.
  2. Empty your temporary Internet files: Open Internet Explorer, go to 'Tools', then 'Internet Options' – as each browser is a bit different, click through tabs to find the option of deleting temporary files and cookies. This should ensure that whatever infection resides in the Temporary Internet Files will be removed. This should also improve the issue you are currently experiencing.
  3. Perform a full scan with Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus while your computer is running in Safe Mode With Networking. (You may need to print out this article if you are not familiar with how to enter Windows Safe Mode)
    -Click on the Start button and select 'Shut Down' from the menu ('Turn off Computer' in XP). The 'Shut Down Windows' dialog box will appear. 
    - Select 'Shut down' (or, 'Turn Off' in XP) and click the 'Yes' (or 'OK') button. 
    -When the computer starts back up, begin immediately by pressing the F8 key repeatedly until the Windows Startup menu appears with various options.
    -By using the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard, select 'Safe Mode with Networking'.
    -Login to your account (if asked).
    -Wait and eventually Windows will start in Safe Mode With Networking.

    Once in Windows Safe Mode With Networking, run Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus:

    -Click on 'Start Scan' button on the left hand menu.
    -Select 'Full Scan'.
    -Click on 'Scan Now'.
    -Repair any infections found.
