Question: How do I activate and register the Retail version of Spyware Doctor?
Answer:
If you have purchased the Spyware Doctor from a retail outlet (Spyware Doctor Retail version), please complete the following procedure to Activate and Register Spyware Doctor. Your activation code is provided on the back of the manual.- After installing Spyware Doctor, ensure you are connected to the Internet. (You need Internet access to Activate your Retail version of Spyware Doctor.)
- Open Spyware Doctor and click the Activate button on the left of Spyware Doctor’s screen to open the Activation screen.
- On the Activation screen, enter your Name, E-mail address and Activation Code into their respective fields.
Please note:
- The Activation Code must be typed exactly as it appears.
- The Name you enter on the Activation Screen is the one used to register Spyware Doctor.
- Click the Activate button on the Activation screen. If your Activation Code is valid, your installation of Spyware Doctor is registered automatically and a License Name and License Code are generated. An e-mail message is sent to the e-mail address entered at step 3. You are now a registered user of Spyware Doctor and have access to all of Spyware Doctor's features and latest updates.
In the unlikely event that you receive an error message after entering your Activation Code, please contact your supplier.
- Run Smart Update as soon as possible after activation and registration, to ensure that the database and tools are updated to the latest version.
