What's new in this release?

Spyware Doctor 3.5 incorporates a number of enhancements:

• Removal of more complex threats and rootkits

Spyware Doctor incorporates additional features that handle the removal of complex threats and rootkits. Users are now given the option to remove potentially malicious hidden processes such as rootkits.

• Real-time kernel protection against hidden rootkits attempting to monitor or compromise your PC

Spyware Doctor now includes real-time kernel-level detection of hidden rootkits and other malicious hidden processes that are capable of compromising your computer or secretly violating your privacy.

• A new Startup Scanner

In addition to Startup Guard, Spyware Doctor now incorporates a Startup Scanner, which removes references to malicious programs that run at startup in the registry and Windows startup files, as well as malicious files in Windows startup locations.

• A White List feature added to Cookie Guard
  
  Spyware Doctor's Cookie Guard OnGuard tool now incorporates a White List, which allows users to add web sites for Cookie Guard to ignore.

• An enhanced Graphical User Interface (GUI)
  
  Spyware Doctor's GUI has been enhanced to provide further integration with PC Tools' online Infection Database, as well as improved support for other languages.

• A new Smart Update tool
  
  Spyware Doctor's Smart Update tool has been enhanced with a new GUI, and improved download capabilities.
