The OnGuard Tools available are:

Browser Guard : Guards against malicious changes to Internet Explorer settings caused by Browser Hijackers.

Cookie Guard : Monitors web browsers for potentially malicious tracking and advertising cookies and removes them automatically.

  File Guard : Monitors your system for any malicious files and prevents them from being accessed. Also blocks attempts to open unsafe attachments in Microsoft Outlook and other email clients.

• Advanced Settings:
• Processes only - Select this option for File Guard to inspect process files only.
• All Files and Processes - Select this option for File Guard to inspect all file(s) access.

  Keylogger Guard : Provides real-time protection against malicious keylogger applications, which can record keystroke information from your keyboard for storage and later retrieval by unsolicited third parties.

• Advanced Settings:
• Sensitivity level -
• Low: blocks only those processes that attempt to record keystrokes without any GUI.
• Normal - allows all processes that attempt to record keystrokes with GUI. However, processes that continue to record keystrokes after the GUI is closed are blocked.
• High - blocks any processes that attempt to record keystrokes on the keyboard.

  Network Guard : Guards against malicious changes to your network settings, which can include unsolicited changes to your Windows Hosts file, Windows Messenger service, Layered Service Provider (LSP) and Domain Name Server (DNS).

• Advanced Settings:
• Hosts file protection - Check this option enable real-time protection of the Windows Hosts file from malicious changes.
• LSP protection - Check this option to enable real-time protection of the Layered Service Provider from malicious changes.
• Restrict Messenger Service - Check this option to enable real-time protection of the Windows Messenger service.span>
• DNS protection - Check this option to enable real-time protection of the Domain Name Server.
• Network Registry Settings Protection -

  Process Guard : Guards against malicious programs by preventing them from running before they have a chance to damage or compromise your computer.

  Startup Guard : Provides real-time protection against malicious applications that attempt to run automatically on your system when Windows starts up.

  Immunizer Guard : Ensures that your computer is immunized against the latest Active-X based threats that may sneak into your PC.
