Updating and Upgrading Spyware Doctor

To update the database, tools and new product features:

PC Tools releases frequent Updates to detect and guard against new threats and viruses as well as to provide enhancements to Spyware Doctor. By default, Smart Updates are set to auto-run.

You can click Smart Update link on the top-right corner of the interface to manually run an update. You can also schedule Smart Updates to run periodically using the scheduler settings.

To obtain a new release or version of Spyware Doctor (upgrading Spyware Doctor), complete the following steps:

Download the installation file from the PC Tools web site and install it onto your computer. Note: If you install Spyware Doctor to the same location as your previous version, it will install over your earlier version and retain your existing registration and configuration settings.
