Managing Global Actions

The Global Action List allows you to configure global rules for files, websites, and cookies. Actions include Allow, Block and Prompt (in SD 5.1 and above).



Adding an item to the list:


To add a file to the Global Action List, click on Settings in the left navigation menu and click Global Action List.


    1. Click the Add button at the bottom of the page. This will display the Add New Rule pop-up screen.


    1. Select Data Type: Select File or Website address/cookie from the drop-down list.


    1. Select File/Website to apply action to: If you chose file as your data type, browse for the file and select it here. If you chose website as your data type, simply type in the website url here.


    1. When this item is selected, do the following: Select one of these actions from the drop-down list: Always Allow / Always Block.


    1. Click Add to add the item and to return to the Global Action List.





Removing an item from the list:


To remove an item from the Global Action List, select it from the list and click Remove.




Changing the action on an item from the list:


To change the action properties of an item, select the item and right-click. Select Change Action to and choose the new action.
