Uninstalling

To uninstall Spyware Doctor from your computer, click on Start -> All Programs / Programs -> Spyware Doctor (folder) -> Uninstall Spyware Doctor. Follow the remaining uninstallation prompts to remove the application from your computer.

Alternatively you can uninstall Spyware Doctor through the control panel by completing the following steps:

1. Open the Windows Control Panel by clicking on Start -> (Settings ->) Control Panel.

2. In the Control Panel, click or double-click on Add or Remove programs / Add/Remove Programs.

3. In the list of currently installed programs/software, click on the Spyware Doctor item to select it.

4. Click the Remove / Add/Remove... button and follow the remaining prompts to remove the application from your computer.

Upgrading

To upgrade Spyware Doctor, complete either of the following:

To obtain a new release or to reinstall Spyware Doctor:

1. Download the installation file from the PC Tools web site and install it onto your computer. Note: If you install Spyware Doctor to the same location as your previous version, it will install over your earlier version and retain your existing registration and configuration settings.

2. Please run Smart Update immediately after installation to ensure that the database and tools are upgraded to the latest version.

To update databases, tools and new product features:

• Click on Smart Update at the top-right of Spyware Doctor's screen or click on Help -> Smart Update and follow the prompts to install the updates.
