Keylogger Guard provides real-time protection against malicious keylogger applications, which can record keystroke information from your keyboard for storage and later retrieval by unsolicited third parties. Such information could include private information such as Internet banking passwords. Keylogger Guard checks for the presence of these malicious applications on your system and prevents them from running. Keylogger Guard uses behavioral detection methods, allowing it to block keylogger recording activities much sooner than similar blockers based on database signature-dependent detection methods.

Summary tab:

• Keylogger Guard is now - click ON / OFF to toggle between switching the Keylogger Guard tool off or on, respectively.

• Sensitivity - click the underlined text to display Low / Medium / High, which switches Keylogger Guard's keylogger detection sensitivity through three levels:

• High - Keylogger Guard to detects and blocks any processes that attempt to record keystrokes on the keyboard.

• Medium - all processes that attempt to record keystrokes with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) are assumed legitimate and are not blocked. However, processes that continue to record keystrokes after the GUI is closed are blocked.

• Low - only processes that attempt to record keystrokes without any GUI are blocked.

• Infections blocked - this field displays the number of potential keyloggers that were blocked during the current Spyware Doctor session. This number is reset to 0 when Spyware Doctor is closed. Clicking this number displays the Results tab.

• Display notification - click the underlined text to display Every time / Once per process, which sets Keylogger Guard pop-up notifications to display with every detection, or once per individual keylogger process, respectively.

• Allow the following applications to monitor keystrokes - this box displays a list of applications which Keylogger Guard is set to ignore. To add such an application, click Add Application. In the resulting Add Application dialog box, browse for the program file to be ignored by Keylogger Guard, select it and click the Open button to add it to the list. To remove an application, select it from this box and click Remove Application.

Results tab:

• Results - displays a cumulative list of processes that Keylogger Guard has detected and blocked during the current session. For each detection, information is also displayed about the name of the process involved and the time when the keylogger was blocked. The results list is cleared when Spyware Doctor is closed.

• Clear results - clears the entire contents of the Results list.
