To update the database, tools and new product features:

• Click on Smart Update at the top-right of Spyware Doctor's screen or click on Help -> Smart Update and follow the prompts to install the updates.

To obtain a new release or version of Spyware Doctor (upgrading Spyware Doctor), complete the following steps:

1. Download the installation file from the PC Tools web site and install it onto your computer. Note: If you install Spyware Doctor to the same location as your previous version, it will install over your earlier version and retain your existing registration and configuration settings.

2. Run Smart Update immediately after installing Spyware Doctor to ensure that the database and tools are upgraded to the latest version. Note: To determine if a new release or version of Spyware Doctor is available, we recommend that you check the Spyware Doctor home page from time to time.
