The Registry Monitor is designed to assist in keeping your system free of Windows registry errors. Registry Monitor observes your Windows registry and alerts you when a specified number of changes have been made to key areas of the registry. When alerted, you have the option to run a silent scan. This optional feature can begin monitoring your registry as soon as Windows starts up.


To enable and configure the Registry Monitor:


  1. Click the Settings button in the left navigation panel, then click on Monitor.


  1. Popup Notification will appear after - Enter the number of events after which you wish to receive a popup notification. By default, this is 300.


  1. Enable Registry Monitor - Select this to enable the Registry Monitor. The  monitor becomes active when Registry Mechanic is minimized to the system tray.
