| Description: | Backdoor.Afcore.AE hooks itself to Explorer.exe which will allow it to operate under the Explorer.exe context. The main process starts up when Windows starts and tries to connect to an IRC Channel to allow attackers to gain access and control of the infected machine. This trojan also uses a guardian process to hide itself from being detected. | |
