Security Software: Conflict with Java Application - FIXED

This issue has been resolved in the latest version of PC Tools Protection Software.

To address this problem, please update your PC Tools Protection Software to the latest release.

Symptoms:

After installing the latest version of PC Tools Internet Security, Java applications cannot completely load.

Causes:

PC Tools Internet Security packet filtering function is preventing Java from loading

OS:   XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 8

Products Affected:

PC Tools Internet Security Version 9.1.0.2898

Troubleshooting:

Please use below as a work-around.

1.    Launch PC Tools Internet Security
2.    Go to “Settings”
3.    Go to “Firewall Settings” > “General” > “Filtering”
4.    Un-check “Packet Filtering”
