Performance Software: Not responding during Deep Registry Scan

Although a Deep Registry Scan may appear to hang, it is still running. Occasionally,the Deep Scan needs additional time to build its invalid entry list within the detected problems window. Once this issue is resolved, any future scans and repairs will occur within an acceptable time frame (normally within just a few minutes).

Please complete these steps outlined below:

  1. Just before the end of the evening, launch your PC Tools Utility program.

  2. Select all the sections to be scanned and then click Scan (let it complete its scan process throughout the night).

  3. The next morning, click on the Repair button within the detected problems window (please allow between 5-60 minutes to complete its repair process).
