Windows 8 machines to freeze or significantly slow down once executed

Generic Windows 8 chipset driver conflict with PC Tools Product

ALL PC Tools Product

Step 1: Check if the latest AMD chipset is installed.

1. Press "WIN" + "R" on your keyboard to launch the "Run" box

2. Type “devmgmt.msc” in to the "Run" box and press "OK"

3. Click the drop-down arrow IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers

4. If it displayed as "Standard SATA AHCI Controller", continue the steps below.

Step 2: Download AMD Chipset Driver

1. Open up Internet Explorer

3. Install driver (Follow the wizard: express installation)

4. After installation reboot computer

Step 3: Confirm the latest AMD chipset is installed

1. Press "WIN" + "R" on your keyboard to launch the "Run" box

2. Type “devmgmt.msc” in to the "Run" box and press "OK"

3. Click the drop-down arrow IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers

4. It should displayed as "AMD SATA Controller", please let us know if it doesn’t.

Note: Drivers for AMD motherboards with 700 series or newer AMD chipsets.
