I requested a refund. When will I receive this?

There are 3 steps from when you request a refund to receiving the amount credited to your account.

1.  Contact our Customer Support Team via Telephone, Live Chat or Email to request a refund.  One of our Customer Support Agents will process your refund as soon as your request is received, and will send an email to you confirming your request has been processed.   

Note: If you spoke to one of our agents via Telephone or Live Chat, your refund will be processed immediately.  If you requested a refund via Email, this may take up to 72 hours to process depending on periods of peak volume.

2.  PC Tools will then send your refund request to your financial institution via our secure payment provider.  This occurs automatically within 24 hours of the request being processed by our agents.

3.  Your financial institution will then credit the refund back to your credit card or the account you used to make the purchase.   The time frame on when you will receive the refund will vary depending upon the transaction processing cycles of your financial institution, however we generally find that most major financial institutions credit the refund to your account within 10-15 business days.

If after 20 Business Days you have not received your refund, first contact your financial institution.  You can use the invoice number contained in the refund confirmation email our Customer Support Agent sent to you as reference.  If your financial institution is unable to locate the refund request, please contact our Customer Support team who will escalate the issue further.
