"Vital" to fix registry issues early on
There are various reasons for registry errors but it is vital they are fixed as soon as possible, an industry commentator has warned.
Arvind Singh, reporter for the LA Chronicle, highlighted that problems with a PC's registry can arise out of several different situations, including malware and faulty un-installation processes.
These can cause the machine's performance to slow dramatically, as well as cause error messages and sometimes make a machine fail or freeze, he noted.
It is a good idea to regularly clean a registry using specialised software, Mr Singh continued.
"By cleaning the registry you are getting not only faster PC performance but also security from the malware threats," he added.
Using a registry cleaner on a regular basis not only ensures a PC becomes more stable but can be a useful way of improving system performance without having to spend money on hardware upgrades - which can often be expensive.
