Software 'the easiest way to remove malware'
Anti-virus software is the best way to remove malware, according to Daryl Moore in his blog How to Detect Spyware and Quickly Remove It.
Malware can affect a computer's performance and according to Daryl an infection can be identified if a computer begins to act erratically, pop-ups appear on screen, there are automatically loaded toolbars or if an individual is being redirected to websites they didn't navigate to.
He proposes that the best way to remove these problems is to install an anti-spyware or malware removal programme.
Daryl advises that fixing poor performance through the use of these programmes can be straightforward.
However, he does warn that other issues such as low memory or bloated registry files could be contributing to the machine's sluggishness.
Matt Gundesen, writing for the blog New York City Watch, wrote that people who take the sensible precaution of installing anti-virus and anti-spyware software on to their computer can protect their machines from danger.
