Many dislike internet security software
Many cited the slowing down of computers, high prices and lengthy scan times as the reasons why they disliked internet security in the Trend Micro Incorporated Survey.
Additionally, many found that they had problems with security software in the past year.
Almost a third of people claimed that the problem was so bad it forced them to purchase a brand new computer.
However, despite the problems experienced, the majority of people agreed that cybercrime and online privacy was a problem on the internet and they therefore did need to apply good security measure to their computers.
Over 80 per cent of people said that the best part of internet security is that it protects the users from malware, 39 per cent liked the frequent updates, and only four per cent said they saw no use in internet security
