'Constant stream' of new malware released
Each day, a fresh wave of viruses, malware, adware, Trojans and spyware is unleashed by hackers onto the World Wide Web, an expert has commented.
An industry commentator known only as Bulletbutter made their comments to online resource GetOnePC, noting that it is no longer uncommon for a computer to become infected simply by navigating to a compromised website.
They remarked that a machine may have anti-virus software on it but that its owner must still exhibit caution when browsing the web and receiving emails and files.
"The truth about keeping your computer safe and clean is that you have to take sole responsibility in and keep tabs on your computer 24/7 or you will do no good," the blogger added.
PC Tools commentator Simon Clausen has previously asserted that despite "constant media bombardment" about malware and other online threats, a person who takes precautions can browse the web safely.
