Clickjacking is the newest internet craze

Hackers are increasingly using a new technique known as clickjacking to spread malware, viruses and Trojans, it has been claimed.
Coined in 2008 by Jeremiah Grossman and Robert Hansen, the term clickjacking refers to hackers using malicious code to redirect people to websites hosting malware when they click on legitimate links.
The major problem with this new technique is it is very difficult to detect, according to the Examiner.
"Clickjacking is done by concealing fake buttons and fake websites over real buttons and real websites. They use this technique to do things such as download virus', Trojans, and malware, and steal personal information," the website states.
There are easy steps to preventing clickjacking, such as upgrading web browsers, but some do not currently have native support such as Firefox.
According to recent research by Secunia, malware attacks are a global problem and cybercriminals are using a cross-platform, multi-browser approach to infecting users PCs and Macs.
