Black Hat Europe conference organisers promise bombshell
The Black Hat Europe conference is set to take centre stage next month and organisers are promising the revelation of information that could impact upon anyone using the internet, according to the IDG News Service.
No details have been released yet of the online security presentation scheduled to take place on April 16th but it could have an effect similar to that see following Dan Kaminsky's revelation at a similar conference last year.
Mr Kaminsky shook the internet security landscape, prompting industry heavyweights including Microsoft to go into overdrive to fix a flaw in the Domain Name System (DNS).
The internet security researcher revealed at a Black Hat conference in July that the flaw could allow cyber crooks to redirect internet users to malicious sites even if the address was entered correctly.
If this is anything to go by, then the conference taking place in Amsterdam with a line up of experts from around the world may see another bombshell dropped.
