Change the Internet Explorer Navigation Sound ()

When you start navigating a web site with Internet Explorer it plays a WAV file, by default a click sound. This setting lets you change or remove that sound.

Open your registry and find or create the key below.

Create a new String value, or modify the existing value, called "(Default)" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\Explorer\Navigating\.current]
Value Name: (Default)
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value Data: Sound Filename (Empty for no sound)
