Disable Media Player Upgrade Message (All Windows)

This setting allows you to disable the automatic Media Player upgrade message that appears when a new version of the player has been released.

This tweak can be easily applied using WinGuides Tweak Manager.

Open your registry and find or create the key below.

Create a new String value, or modify the existing value, called "AskMeAgain" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
