Disable TCP/IP Source Routing (Windows NT 4.0)

Normally, on a computer running Windows NT 4.0, you cannot disable the source routing feature for the TCP/IP protocol. By using this tweak it is possible to disable it.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value named 'DisableIPSourceRouting' and set the value to either '1' to disable source routing, or '0' to enable source routing.

Restart Windows for the change to take effect.

Note: You must have Windows NT Service Pack 5 or greater installed for this setting to work.
