Disable Passport Balloon Reminder (Windows XP)

When you install Windows XP a balloon reminder is shown to prompt you to enter a Microsoft .NET Passport. This reminder can be disabled if you are not using Passport or MSN Messenger.

This tweak can be easily applied using WinGuides Tweak Manager.

Open your registry and find or create the key below.

Create a new Binary value, or modify the existing value, called "PassportBalloon" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
