Disable Secure E-mail Certificate Checking (All Windows)

When you send a secure message in Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2000, you may need to use a certificate that does not match your e-mail address. This tweak allows you to turn off e-mail matching for certificates.

Open your registry and find or create the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "SupressNameChecks" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
