Remove Deleted Information from Outlook (All Windows)
Even though an item may have been deleted in Outlook some remnants of it could still remain accessible in the raw data files. This setting causes Outlook 2000 and 2002 (XP) to completely remove all deleted data when it is shut down.

Open your registry and find or create the key below.
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "PSTNullFreeOnClose" and set it according to the value data below.
Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
Note: This feature was first made available in Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1).
