Network New

A network is a group of computer linked together using a standard protocol. There are different types of computer networks including:

• Local Area Network (LAN) - Used to describe a network of computers that are in the same area (or building).
• Wide Area Network (WAN) - Used to describe a network of computers that are located in different geographic locations.
• Storage Area Network (SAN) - Used to describe a network of storage devices that are used to provide data storage to computers on LANs or WANs.
