Network Interface Card (NIC) New
A network interface card, commonly known as a NIC, provides the interface been a computer and a network.
A NIC can either be an additional card that is plugged into the computer, or it can be built onto the motherboard. Either way the network card will provide a connection to the network, either through a socket and cable, or via wireless protocols.
