Random Access Memory (RAM) New
Random Access Memory, or RAM, is a type of memory used to store temporary data in a computer or other device.
RAM allows extremely fast access to the data stored in it, this makes it ideal for the temporary storage information. Random access memory as it's name implies means that any part of data can be accessed without having to read all the data.
RAM is usually volatile, which means that when the power is turned off all the data is lost or reset. Therefore RAM is not suited for the storage of non-temporary data.
