Unhappy Problem with Quicken 2005

Quicken 2005 will lock up when I try to do a One step update when SWdoctor is running. When I shut SWdoctor down Quicken works fine. Is there a setting I need to change to allow these two to play nice together? Also when I first start up my computer SWdoctor uses 100% of my cpu for about 3 minutes, is this normal? Thanks any and everyone....

Hey waldrop1728,

It seems that one of the SD tools are utilizing most of your CPU usage. You may need to figure out which tool is doing this by disabling the tools one at a time.

With SD conflicting with Quicken, try to disable Keylogger Guard and ProcessGuard.

Default Problem with Quicken 2005/2006

I have Quicken 2006, and SD came up with a "Keylogger" thats says "Quicken\qw.exe" is monitoring your keystrokes. Is this anything I want to keep having done? Having my keystokes monitored by this "exe"? Should I just get rid of it?

Thank you, NH

Hey,

If the option comes up to allow you to add "Quicken\qw.exe" to the keylogger guard, you will need to accept this as this allows Quicken to remember your username and passwords for Quicken.

If there is no option for this, then disable keylogger guard in order for Quicken to remember the username and password.
