What to do if I have problems?
Please post your experiences about Spyware Doctor in the Spyware Doctor forum and ask any questions you may have. Any help you can give us isolating any problems would be much appreciated, i.e. if you have problems with your e-mail, see if disabling Email Guard fixes the problem, and please tell us any and all error messages and system information (Exact error details, Windows version, software installed, memory size, type of processor) to help us replicate the problem.

What to do if you have installed the beta version:

If you currently have any beta versions of Spyware Doctor installed, you will first need to uninstall this version, to install the latest verstion.

Uninstall
1. Ensure that you have fully exited the application. To fully exit from Spyware Doctor please right click on the Spyware Doctor icon in the notification area (next to the clock on the Windows taskbar) and select Shutdown from the menu that appears. Please also close any instances of Internet Explorer or other browsers.
2. Perform an uninstall of Spyware Doctor from:
Start(Windows Button) > (All)Programs > Spyware Doctor > Uninstall Spyware Doctor
3. **IMPORTANT** Make sure that the Spyware Doctor folder (which by default would be under 'C:\Program Files') no longer exists. If the 'Spyware Doctor' folder still exists, please delete the folder.

Re-Install
1. Download:

For Spyware Doctor With AntiVirus, please click here!
2. Install Spyware Doctor that was downloaded in step #1 above

If you have any older versions of Spyware Doctor, that is, v5.x or v6.x, you can simply reinstall over the top of this version. Otherwise, you can just follow the instructions above to uninstall then reinstall.
