Default Unicode Systems are currently not supported

I just installed the new version of RM but it doesn't open and I get the above message. What should I do?

Help someone please . I have tried to download the new version RM 7 but I can't get anything except the above message when I try to open it. RM 6 was working fine - how can I go back to it??? Or is there another solution. Right now I have no working RM.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling two or three times (cleaning everything from folders)

Swannie,

This has been escalated to the developers for further investigations.

Cheers

Hi Anthony,
Thanks. I'm waiting for some advice. I've never had this problem with any software download before.

Hi Swannie,

The latest version is not unicode compatible just yet, the developers are still working on this. However, I have provided a workaround, if its something you want to try.

Check the following details of your system.

Click Start>Settings>Control Panel and open 'Regional Language Options'

1. Click on Regional Options tab and note the Language used under "Standards and Formats"

2. Click on Advance tab and note the language used under "Language used for Non-Unicode Programs"

If under the Advance tab, you have selected a language other that English. Please try and change this to "US English" as this would resolve the problem.

Hi Anthony,
Language used for non-unicode programs on my PC is Greek but as we use this PC in English and Greek, will this affect anything else. It asks me to insert the Windows CD so I don't want to change everything and then find out there's no Greek language here.

Is there any possibility of going back to RM 6 which would be simpler?

This will only affect RM, as this is not unicode compatible at the moment. The developers are currently working on this.

However, if you wish to download RM v6.0.0.780, please click here.
