Default Ultra Edit problem with SD5

I have found that after installing Spyware Doctor 5 (latest version), my copy of UltraEdit (13.10a+1) seems to lose it's settings and I have to continuously re-enter and save them. If I uninstall SD5, UEdit functions perfectly again.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks AChen.
I should have advised you that I am running SD5 on Vista Ultimate, with all Windows updates applied.
Thanks.

We ran a test with SD installed with Ultra Edit and was not able to recreate the problem, however, this was done on Windows XP machine. Since you have provided updated info, we'll be giving this another go on Vista. If we cannot recreate this, I'll see what other information we'll need to help us look into this further.

Achen,

I think the problem has been solved, although I am not sure why. I reinstalled my machine from a backup (which doesn't include SD5) and this time I installed the Anti-Virus version of SD5. (Previously I had been using the standard SD5 which downloaded the AV component). Now both UEdit and SD5 seem to be working quite happily. It appears it was something about my particular setup that reinstalling from a backup put right. Hope I haven't caused you any inconvenience.
Thanks.

Mad Dan, thats great to hear Problem may have occured because of some sort of conflict during the installation the first time, but now that it appears to be working ok, I'll pass the info on. If the problem re-occurs, post in this thread again and we'll continue to look into this.
