Sth related to the edition number

Hey, buddies, I am confusing over sth about the edition number, and anybody knows which one is the newest edition of SDv5, v5.0.1.205 or v5.0.1.259? Some friends have emailed me that the installation packs which officially offered was the latter...and besides, that pack was nearly half of the pack of v5.0.1.205 I had downloaded before, 14M vs 26M.

If the official pack is still v5.0.1.205, how to explain why it is cut off nearly half of total in contrast to the one with 26M, or any differences?

I just downloaded it and its smooth sailing from here. So far so good

Its similar to that of build 258. I'm going to give the scan a go now Will be back soon.

But why does the total of Intelli-signature incredibly decrease from nearly 640,000 of 5.0.1.205 to just 180,250 of 5.0.5.259?

Any explainations?

Hi Daryl,

With the Spyware Doctor evaluation version, the database version is smaller as this has been repackaged. For registered users, the database version is smaller during installation, but by performing a Smart Update, you'll be able to download the full database version.

Is there any way in which we could manually download the updates or intelli-signatures, that is to go to a link/website where we can download a file containing the updated intelli-signatures instead of having to rely on smart update?

Hi Ralph,

At the moment, the only way to obtain the updates is via the Smart Updates option.
