Site Guard and Tracking cookies and email guard

Three ?s here. In that site guard is an add-on, can we assume its updating with spyware doctor updates. Secondly, if onguard is enabled and all items therein are active then why is the program allowing tracking cookies to be placed on the machine. Until I do a scheduled scan and/or a manual scan they are not detected. How is that email guard working now - has it been fixed? Please advise.

If there are any updates for Site Guard, then it will be downloaded via the Smart Updates.

Cookie Guard does not block cookies from being stored on your PC, it will monitor the cookies and remove them in about a 30 second cycle. So if at any point you run a scan within that 30 sec cycle, a scan will detect these cookies before CG can remove them. Please note that CG will not remove all cookies, as not all cookies are malicious.

The developers are working on Email Guard. Some users are currently running EG without any problems. If you would like to install EG, click here.

Unless You are running Firefox. According to 'sticky' on top fixed, but not on my application.

then in that case why doesn't the scan just remove the cookies silently

then only resion i see for prompting users is to assure users that SD is actually doing something

I'm running Firefox and SD picks up my cookies.

The sticky mentions that the firefox issue has been resolved.
I use Firefox and Cookie Guard does work it.
