I have to say that I have dropped SD from my protection line-up As much as I like the GUI and scanning, the memory usage was just too much for me! SD5.0 used over 200MB (including VM), SD4.x used 80MB (including VM). Now I'm using CounterSpy 2.5, guess how much memory?

..........................50MB (including VM).
Unless SD 5.0.5 reduces the memory usage significantly, I wont consider returning to it.

I didn't get a chance to try the new version of SD yet, but really looking forward to it . I also like running SD, hopefully the resource usage is improved in the new build. I don't really have any problems with this, but some users have.

Best of luck
Granger

I'm also hoping that the new build will take care of the resource issue.
