Default Starter Edition Not Updating

Hi, when I first downloaded SD starter edition (a while ago now), it continued to update regularly for some time. However, I have had only one update since about the start of the month, and it was for antivirus (which I don't have!). I am wondering if this is normal, or wheather there is something wrong with my version.

The program says that the product version is 5.0.0.185 and the database version is 5.07550. Is this up-to-date? Is my computer at risk?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the latest version is 5.0.1.205 and database 5.07760 so you're way behind.

Hi
Google don't update version numbers as quickly as PC Tools so version 5.0.1.205 isn't significant.

I just thought it was unusual because it was updating quite regularly for a while (every few days). Lately, every few days has become every few weeks, hence my concern.

Of course, I don't expect everything for free , but the starter edition is free because it lacks almost all on-guard scanners, not because it doesn't get updated. Essentially, the starter edition is just the manual scan (well, you can do scheduled scans, but no real-time protection). I think the least I can expect is a fairly up-to-date program.

The main question I want answered is whether other people with the starter edition have still been getting updates, while I have not.
