Spyware Dr. Keeps running and running...

Hello,

I just downloaded Spyware Dr. 5.0 for a trial run with the intention of purchasing it after the scan. It downloaded fine, was easy to set up and seemed to be going well.

As it scans it gets hung up in a folder on my C: drive (which, by the way I cannot find. I think it was

Cocumentsandsettings\Administrator\complete\.... ..)

It looks as if the same items keep repeating and repeating being logged every time as a problem. What I noticed is that there are many DVD titles, magazine titles, music, and some adult ones as well. If I sit and watch, the same ones keep popping up again and again. Spyware Dr. keeps logging them in and they keep coming back. I was up to 2800 items before I had to pause the scan.

While I don't think Spyware Dr. caused these, I was hoping it could cut through and recognize what was causing the problems.

I would be happy to hear any feedback to help me help Spyware Dr. help my computer.

It sounds like your PC may be heavily infected with malware. Run a scan in safemode. Also the Free trial of SD will not allow you to remove the infections found. So you may need to purchase a subscription.
