Thumbs up Version 5 Problems: Only a storm in a tea-cup

Michael Green, VP of product strategy at PC Tools, said only a small percentage of its customers had experienced problems with Spyware Doctor 5.0. and our problems are only a storm in a tea-cup:

I feel much better now.

And I do, and will rest easy tonight, instead of tearing what little hair I have
left out, over the problems this SD 5 have caused me since launch.

What Mr Green seems to not understand re the problems with V5 are:

[1] The "small percentage" is actually quite large. Just look at the volume of complaints Mr G.

[2] PC Tools has handled the issue badly. With little help or support for its customers. An apology would help.

Although I am extremely satisfied with V4. I would now run a mile from using V5. I have no confidence in this product.

Mr Green appears to be full of horse manure. But I did notice something interesting at the bottom of the article. Since I seem to be wearing a "Kick Me" sign on my back anyway, I downloaded Google's Spyware Doctor "lite" version. Nothing better to do while waiting for the real fix

Update: After installing, I clicked "About" to see what's up. I forgot that my license info was still in the registry, so now I have a registered copy of build .169. Am I going from worse to worser?
