Whats all this talk about people having to format, is spyware doc 5 really that bad, im using a dell xps m1710 and ive recently upgraded to version 5, but apart from IE 7 being slow at times i cant really say ive noticed anything like the problems im reading. does it depend what software youve got installed and hardware? should i be sticking with this or downgrading to version 4? IS THIS PROGRAM SAFE ON MY COMPUTER?

Hi
This depends on what other software you are using. If you are using Norton products or ZoneAlarm Internet Security you may have issues.
Also, are you using the AV plugin? Many users have noticed that this is the culprit for many problems.
Many users are commenting on the improved stability of version 5.0.0.174, I would suggest upgrading to this if you have not already.
If you are overly concerned, SDv4 is available to download here
