Problems with Version 5
I thought that I was the only one having real problems with Version 5 upgrade. That was, until I came across this deluge of dissatisfied customers in a similar position.
I my case I get a nauseating red pop up saying "Unable to connect to server" for the Smart update - try again later!!!!!
I run Norton, and if the issue is with them, then the onus is on PC Tools to get this resolved as it undermines the credibility of their product. If this unacceptable state of affairs continues then I will switch to a competitors product.
I am also extremely disappointed with the lack of help from PC Tools Support, I have received no assistance after 6 days of sending a request for help.
