Spyware Doctor 5.0

I haven't had any issues reported here and reading through some of the posts I think at least some people are having conflicts with other software. Trend Micro seems to be running theme, perhaps PC Tools should retest with Trend Micro and look for any incompatibilities. For everyone’s benefit I am using Spyware Doctor 5.0 along side with Free version of Zone Labs firewall and CyberHawk. I know PC Tools has a Free firewall but I am used to ZoneLabs for years so I am sticking with it at least for now.

Have you tried the latest 174 release that’s now on PC Tools website. From my reading it has fixed a lot of issues reported in the forums. I can also see there Poll that Tom started on SD 4.0 vs SD 5.0 has now significantly moved towards V 5.0 and that only happened in the last few hours so something must have been fixed..

Yup, as long as I did not add the AV feature to the SD. Everything is allrite.

I'm just waiting for them to confirm that they have actually improved the AV feature first. coz from the other post, I can see that some people are having trouble after installing AV feature.

Therefore I'll just wait...
