Default When Will I Ever Learn?

I read the sticky. I took a chance. I down loaded and installed .174. It ran a scan in 7 minutes (cool!) and said to reboot. So far, so good.

On restart, SD icon is one of the first to appear in sys tray, with a little red X (SD starting). 20 minutes later it's still starting, so I right-click icon and hit "Open". Interface opened normally and everything looked good until...

Why does it say A/V Active?I didn't know it would be included automatically. I don't want the damned A/V. It caused a lot of the problems I had 10 days ago when this disaster started!

PC Tools can put their A/V WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE!

If I can't have a properly working Version 5, without the A/V, Spyware Doctor is coming out and never going back in!

BTW tray icon still "starting" an hour later!

Keith:

I had a similar problem back along & it was to do with the AV being linked to my license! The way out was to PM Achen & have the AV removed from my license. I'm not sure if that still applies but PM him cause he resolved that issue I had.

Good luck!

Hey Keith,

If you want me to disable the AV plugin, please PM me your license details and I will fix this up for you.

I will also escalate the problems you are having with the AV plugin.
