Limited Or No Internet Connectivity Upon Removal

Just wanted to let you know that everytime I try to uninstall AntiVirus in WinXp I lose my wireless connection and get a message that I have limited or no connectivity between my wireless card and router. I was searching for answers to no avail, and found that WinSockXPfix works like a charm to repair it http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html

Just in case anyone else runs into this problem like I did.
