Default hiding computer locked window (XP Pro) (WXP-Pro)

When the computer is locked, I want to hide/disable/automatically reposition the window indicating the workstation is locked. Either not see it at all, or just tuck it down in the lower right corner or somerhing...either solution would work for me.

That is no possible without special software. Try to search from internet if someone knows such software.
Edited by motoflop on 05/02/06 10:52.

Maybe you must hack with a tool like ResourceHacker the file that shows the dialog... I think is EXPLORER.EXE or SHELL32.DLL...

Neither, is MSGINA.DLL, dialogs 1900 and 1950

Wow....incredible! Thanks for the info, monkey. 1900 is definitely the bugger I want to set invisible, but for some reason, I can't get the changes to "stick" when I save. Any suggestions?

You MUST edit a COPY of the file, and then replace the original file with the 'hacked' one... To do so, boot to the recovery console and replace the originals in SYSTEM32 and SYSTEM32\DLLCACHE...

Do this at your OWN RISK!

XP Pro does not have System32\DLLCache. The msgina.dll file occurs in system32, system32\LastGood and i386 directories....ResourceHacker automatically creates a backup when a file is opened for edit, but anything I change in ResourceHacker does not actually get saved.
