Default stop websites from re-sizing IE?? (WXP-Pro)

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to prevent a website from re-sizing the Internet Explorer window? Or can someone direct me some place else with the info???

Most web sites doesn't resize Internet Explorer window. If you have problems with many web sites, you should scan for spyware and hijackers.

Typically resize is done from javascript. You could add those sites to restricted zone, where scripting is disabled. Of course, it might mean that those web pages won't function properly without scripts.

if you close one of those small pop-ups last the next time you open IE it opens small....

I run many blockers and MY IE opens large all the time...

I use a combination of Popupcop, IESpy list, Adshield, outpost blocking plug-ins and I just added Spybusters,,,

I enable and disable function in these programs so the combined total makes it nice to cruise the web..
