Inconsistent acces through IE to Hotmail account (WXP-Home)

Not sure if this is the correct place to post.

I have Win XP SP1, IE6 SP1. I have several users on my machine and have Avant Browser and MYIE2 installed.

If I am in my user area my daughter can access her hotmail account using IE, Avant no problem.

If we are in her area (she is set up as an Administrator) she can access her account through Avant but when trying through IE it asks for username and password and then goes to a blank page. There is the lock symbol in the status bar indicating a secure site. The address it seeks is a https address. But this is not the case with Avant under her area or Avant or IE in mine. It simply redirects, I think, to her hotmail inbox.

I have checked numerous privacy/security settings and done a virus check.

Any ideas would be welcome.

try enabling the cookies, and see if it works

Yes I enabled all cookies. I have set up IE exactly the same under both users as far as I can tell. But I've noticed something else which may give a clue. If I go into google in the IE that doesn't work, enter a word to search for and press the search button it doesn't work (just sits there). But if I do the same thing in the working screen it works OK.

Does that help anyone help me?

try clearing up or deleting all the cookies, temp internet files and also offline content. It should clear everything and should work.
