Default Threatfire and Punkbuster

Hi there,

I've read on some of the posts about Threatfire interfering with Punkbuster, however I only have Threatfire with the PCTools firewall and Avira but I'm not using SD. Using threatfire is giving me the error Unknown Windows API function [131125] whenever I play BF2142. Is there a way to temporarily disable threatfire at all so that I can play?

Thanks

Nope. The only way is to actually fully close it.

How do you fully "close" it though? Can't suspend it because that doesn't actually turn it off and it won't let me end the program from the processes tab in task manager.

1) Ctr+right click threatfire, select exit.
2) Run>>Cmd>>net stop threatfire.

That should shut down threatfire.

Go to start menu and locate Run... , when the run box opens type in cmd and push OK. A command prompt window should now be open. Type in net stop threatfire and hit enter.
