From your post, it appears that another program you have on your system is conflicting with RM and not allowing it to start up, since it is working in safemode. In safemode, none of the processes are running. Therefore, we need to figure out which process it is that is starting in normal mode that is affecting RM.

The only way to investigate this further is to try and limit the startup processes during Windows startup.

1. Click on Start(Windows Button)
2. Click on Run (Windows 7\Vista go to step 3)
3. type msconfig and hit enter
4. System Configuration Utility will then start
5. Click on the 'Startup' tab
6. Uncheck any unnecessary processes that run in the file path 'C:\Program Files\...' (you can always go back to the System Configuration Utility and re-tick these options if you wish to re-enable them)
7. Click on 'Apply' and 'Ok" or 'Close'
8. Restart your PC and try to start RM.
